Temporary Vihara Accommodation

As many of you are aware, due to unexpected and extensive building work which will be carried out at 1 Caldercuilt Rd., the Vihara will have to be vacated for a period of 4-5 months. Several temporary flats have been offered by Glasgow City Council as alternative accommodation but sadly, none of them have proved to be suitable.

However, we have been fortunate in finding a flat available for rent at 2002 Maryhill Rd.(across the close from the old Vihara) and shall be moving in on 9th December. From 11th December, Venerable Rewata will be conducting Buddhist ceremonies and Mindfulness Meditation classes as before. We apologise if these unforeseen circumstances cause any inconvenience to our friends and devotees but hope that you will continue to visit during this brief period. We shall, of course, be delighted to welcome all newcomers.
