Sinhala and Tamil New Year 2011

As usual we are celebrating Sinhala and Tamil New Year at Scotland Buddhist Vihara on Saturday the 16th April.


Please note the following Nekath times for the New Year.

Awurudu Udava - 14th April at 08:31 am
Ahara Piseema - 14th April at 08:39 am
Ahara Anubhavaya - 14th April at 09:36 am


Suba Disava - North
Golden Colour Clothes


Hisathel Gema at the Vihara on 16th April at 10:55 am


Ceremony at the Vihara will start at 10:00 am followed by the Sangika Dana for resident monks and devotees.
