Important Information: Venerable Gothami's Visit to Scotland - Programme Cancelled

Due to unavoidable circumstances we have to cancel all programme planned to conducted by Ven Gothami from the 01st of August.

Venerable Gothami is required to travel to Sri Lanka urgently so we have no option but to cancel the rest of the programme from 01st August.

Monthly Sil Programme will be rescheduled to 20th August 2011 as follows.

9.00am – 4.00 pm Sil Programme at the Vihara
4.00pm – 5.00 pm Puja

Venerable Gothami’s Visit to Scotland

Scotland’s Buddhist Vihara is organising a special programme to welcome Venerable Gothami Bhikkhuni (Buddhist Nun) to Scotland.

She will be arriving in Glasgow on 29th of July and leaving on 7th of August.

Venerable Gothami will conduct several meditation programmes and give talks on her experience of being a Buddhist Nun and her meditation experience.

30th July 11.00am- 1.00pm Dana and sermon at the Vihara
4.00pm- 6.00pm Puja and meditation session

31st July 11.00am – 1.00pm Dana and sermon at the Vihara
7.00pm – 8 pm Puja and meditation session

1st Aug 9.30am – 10.30am meeting with MBSR Group I
11.00am Dana (Home visit)
7.00pm – 8.00 pm – meeting with MBSR Group II

2nd Aug 11.00am 1.00pm Dana at the Vihara
Venerable Gothami is available for home visits and individual advice and guidance meetings.

03rd Aug 11.00am - 1.00 pm Dana at the Vihara
7.00pm – 8.00 pm meeting with MBSR Group III

04th Aug Tour to Edinburgh

05th Aug 11.00am – 1.00pm Dana at the Vihara
6.00pm – 9.00pm Discussion and meditation in English

06th Aug 9.00am – 4.00 pm Sil Programme at the Vihara
