Kathina Ceremony
To end the rainy retreat in the Vassana Season the Katina Puja (Offering Robes Ceremony) at the Scotland Buddhist Vihara will be held on 27th Saturday, October 2007 from 10.30am to 2.30pm at the Vihara.

1) Kathina Perahera (Main Robe Procession) 10.30am
2) Sewing the Robe 10.30am-11.00am
3) Preparation of Buddha Puja 11.00am-11.15am
4) Buddha Puja 11.15am-11.30am
5) Dana Meal for Maha Sangha 11.30am-12.30pm
6) Lunch for Lay People 12.30pm-1.30pm
7) ‘Kathina Ceremony’ 1.30pm-2.30pm
-Devotees offer the Special Robe to the Monks
If you wish to share or sponsor the Pirikara(robes) for the visiting monks and Dana food please feel free to contact the Vihara.
