Day Retreats in
Mindfulness
10am to 4pm.
Retreat is an opportunity
to reduce our distractions and focus on deepening our experience of a
particular practice. At the Scottish Centre for Mindfulness we provide a day
retreat each month to bring yourself back to the moment and be guided in the
following key Mindfulness practices:
Body Scan;
Mindfulness of Breathing;
Loving Kindness /
Compassion;
Mindful Movement
(including Mindful Walking outside if weather permits).
A traditional Sri Lankan
lunch of dhal and rice will be provided and participants are invited to bring
something to
share with the group. Lunch will be an opportunity to be guided in the practice
of Mindful Eating.
Please wear loose clothes
so that you will be comfortable to sit, lie down and perform simple yoga /
qigong exercises and bring a yoga mat if you have one.
