A day retreat

The Scotland’s Buddhist Vihara is organising a day retreat and Special Dhamma Sermon on Saturday the 05th of November 2011 at the Vihara.

09:00 AM - Start of the Programme observing eight precepts followed by a meditation session (in English)

10:00 - 11:00 AM - Special Dhamma Sermon( in Sinhala) by Head Monk of the Matara Pussala Purana Vihara, Most Venerable Sapugoda Chandananda Nayaka Thero

11.15-11.30 AM Puja

11.30-12.30 NOON Lunch

12.30-1.30 PM Walking meditation

1.30- 2.30 PM Sutta discussion

2.30-3.30PM Meditation

3.30-4.00pm Tea

04:00 - 05:00 PM - Special Dhamma Sermon (in Sinhala) by Head Monk of the Bellana Sri Dharmapala Maha Pirivena & Chief Monk of the Western Province, Most Venerable Malewana Pugngnarathana Nayaka Thero

05:00 PM - Refreshments & End of the programme.

Please note that Children's Sinhala Class will not be held on this Saturday due to the programme.
